Man due in court after two put in hospital during Pleasance ‘disturbance’

Multiple police cars and at least two ambulances descended on Pleasance yesterday lunchtime, where the 44-year-old, who has not been named by detectives, was arrested.
He will appear before Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Monday, October 19.

Hide AdTwo other men, aged 44 and 35, were taken to the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary by paramedics with what police described as “serious” injuries.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We received a report around 1.40pm on Friday, 16 October of a disturbance on Pleasance in Edinburgh.
“Two men, aged 44 and 35, have been taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary with serious injuries.
“A third man, aged 44, has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident. He is due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Monday, 19 October, 2020.
