Man in Edinburgh arrested after the theft of a vial containing the coronavirus vaccine

A man has been arrested after a vial of the Covid vaccine was stolen from a vaccination centre.

The 41-year old man was arrested after a police investigation into the incident.

The police were alerted to the theft on Saturday morning and they have submitted a report to the Procurator Fiscal.

The vial was stolen from the vaccination centre on Morrison Street within the Edinburgh International Conference Centre.
