The 21-year-old victim had shared a taxi with Callum Saffery and thought he was going home.
She told the High Court in Edinburgh: “He asked me if he could use the toilet so I let him in.”

The woman told his trial: “He put his hand to my mouth and I just bit him. He called me a freak and jumped off the bed and started to leave.”
Saffery, of Moredunvale Grove, had denied the sex attack but was earlier convicted of assaulting the woman with intent to rape her on August 2 in 2014.
A judge told Saffrey that in view of the seriousness of the offence there was no alternative to a custodial sentence.
Lord Boyd of Duncansby also ordered that he be kept under supervision for a further year.
Saffery was also placed on the sex offenders’ register.
