Man taken to hospital following 'incident' at Edinburgh property

Officers were called out to the Hyvots area of the Capital on Friday night following an incident at a property.

Neighbours told the Evening News forensic teams were at the scene in Hyvot Park until late into the night.

A spokesman from Police Scotland said: “Police were called around 9.10pm on Friday, June 4 following the report that a man had sustained injuries at a property in Hyvot Park, Edinburgh.

“A 41-year-old man was taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary and enquiries are currently ongoing to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident.”
