Two men have been charged after being rescued from a small boat in Port Seton harbour on Wednesday, June 10.

The coastguard have said that they received the call saying that the men were unable to return safely to land.

Police Scotland has confirmed that the men, aged 48 and 38, have been charged in connection with culpable and reckless conduct after the rescue and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

This incident happened on the same day, and in the same area, that a woman fell from the harbour wall and was also rescued by the coastguard, who were still in the area.
