DALKEITH:

On Friday, July 16, at the Jarnac Court a 66 year old man conducted himself in a disorderly manner whilst travelling on a bus by shouting and swearing at a number of youths also travelling on the bus. He was issued with an official Recorded Police Warning.

On Tuesday, July 13, at McDonalds, Bonnyrigg Road, a 60 year old man shouted and swore at members of staff and acted in a threatening and abusive manner. He was issued with a Fixed Penalty Notice by officers

On Tuesday, July 13, at Old Dalkeith Road, Danderhall, A 23 year old man was stopped by officers and found to have previously been disqualified from driving. The driver of the vehicle was held to appear at court. A report has also been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal in relation to the owner of the vehicle who was aware the man was disqualified and allowed him to use the vehicle.

On Monday, July 12, at Lothian Road a 38 year old man was found in possession of a personal amount of herbal cannabis. A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

On Sunday, July 18, at Woodburn Drive a 24 year old man shouted, swore and assaulted two female members of the public. He was traced and held to appear at court.

NEWTONGRANGE / MAYFIELD:

On Thursday, July 15, at Langlaw Road, a 19 year old man was found in possession of a personal amount of herbal cannabis. He was issued with a Recorded Police Warning.

On Thursday, July 15, at an address in Birkenside a 41 year old man shouted and swore at and made threats towards a neighbour. The man was held to appear at court.

On Monday, July 12, at Stobhill Road, a 19 year old man was found in possession of personal amounts of herbal cannabis and cocaine. A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

BONNYRIGG:

A 41 year old man has been reported to the Procurator Fiscal following a report of assault on another man at Polton Street on Wednesday, July 14.

On Wednesday, July 14, a 25 year old man was observed driving a motor car whilst using a hand held device in High Street, Lasswade. A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

On Friday, July 16, officers carrying out patrols in Dundas Street observed a man driving a motor car in a careless manner. The 20 year old man was issued with a Recorded Police Warning.

PENICUIK:

On Tuesday, July 13, a man was stopped by officers on mobile patrol and found to be in possession of alcohol, which further enquiries revealed had been stolen from shop premises in Edinburgh Road. The 48 year old man has been reported to appear at court at a later date.

On Wednesday, July 14, a 33 year old man conducted himself in a threatening and abusive manner by challenging others to fight at Pentland Avenue. During the incident the man spat in the face of a police officer. He was held to appear at court.
