Concerns had been growing for the welfare of missing Demi-Leigh McDad reported missing from the Drylaw area of the city.

An appeal was issued by police to trace the 13-year-old who family had not seen since Thursday.

Police confirmed on Sunday morning that Demi-Leigh had been found safe and well and thanked media and members of the public with their sharing of the appeal.
