Musselburgh incident: Youth, 16, taken to hospital after High Street assault

A youth has been taken to hospital after an assault on a Lothians High Street today.

The incident happened at around 2pm on Musselburgh High Street, with police and ambulance services in attendance.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Police were called around 1.55pm on Friday, 16 April, 2021 following the report of assault on Musselburgh High Street.

“A 16-yer-old male youth was taken by ambulance to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh where he is currently receiving treatment for non-life threatening injuries.
