Off-road biker repeatedly frightens dogs by travelling at high speed on Lothian beach
The East Lothian area, which is popular with walkers, dogs and horses is facing a ‘significant safety risk’ after the biker has been seen around the beach over the past couple of weeks, Police Scotland has said.
Witnesses have claimed the person has been going at ‘high speed’ and frightening dogs out of walking.

Hide AdPolice are concerned for the areas nearby which are protected as a unique habitat for wildlife.
A number of offences are being committed by the biker’s behaviour and police are currently investigating the issue.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Over the past couple of weeks there have been a number of calls to police regarding the use of an off-road bike on the beach at Belhaven Bay, Dunbar.
“This area is popular with walkers, dogs and horses and the presence and manner of driving present a significant safety risk.
