Pervert caught with horrific bestiality pictures involving snakes and pigs is jailed

A vile pervert breached a sexual prevention order when he was caught with hundreds of extreme pornographic images of women, snakes and pigs.

Korin McPhail, 45, also downloaded pictures of adults engaged in sexual activity with various animals including dogs and horses.

And during the police search at his home in December last year officers also found 13 movies featuring adult women having sexual contact with dogs.

Following the horror, find McPhail was granted bail after a court appearance but was caught with more disturbing images for a second time when officers raided his Edinburgh flat in June this year.

Following a search of electronic devices, which he was banned from having due to his bail conditions, officers discovered a further 2317 extreme pornographic pictures stored on a PlayStation console.

McPhail appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court today via video link from the city’s Saughton prison where he pleaded guilty to three offences.

Prosecutor Heather Carmichael told the court McPhail was placed on a sexual offenders prevention order (SOPO) in February 2018 with various conditions including not to possess internet devices or to delete internet history without prior approval.

Police were on a routine visit to the kitchen assistant’s home in the Oxgangs area of the capital on December 9 last year when during a search of a Lynx tablet they found pornographic images had recently been deleted.

An Xbox was also looked at and the officers found “videos of a female engaging in sexual activity with animals” hidden within an app on the games console.

More devices were seized from the property and a total of 286 images of extreme pornography were discovered including “adults engaged in sexual activity with animals including dogs, horses, snakes and pigs”.

Ms Carmichael added a further 13 movies of a similar nature were also found downloaded to an SD card.

Following his release on bail, where he was banned from possessing devices capable of accessing the internet, the fiscal said police then received intelligence and raided his home armed with a search warrant on June 6 this year.

On this occasion officers discovered four Xbox devices and two PlaySations hidden in his bedroom.

Ms Carmichael said McPhail “quite freely” admitted to breaching the SOPO by accessing the internet on the devices.

One of the PlayStations was found to have “2317 still extreme pornographic images” stored on its hard drive.

Solicitor Steven Donald, defending, said he would reserve his mitigation to the sentencing diet and made no application for bail.

Sheriff Alastair Noble remanded McPhail in custody and deferred sentence to later this month for reports to be prepared.

McPhail pleaded guilty to possessing extreme pornographic images depicting sexual contact between adults and animals between December 9 last year and June 17 this year.

He also admitted to breaching a SOPO by deleting internet history without permission at his home at Oxgangs Drive, Edinburgh, on December 9 last year.

He also pled guilty to possessing internet capable devices when banned from doing so between December 10 last year and June 16 this year.

McPhail was previously jailed for seven years in 1997 for indecently assaulting a 71-year-old woman and attacking a 17-year-old woman with the intention of raping her on two separate occasions in Kirkcaldy, Fife.
