After dozens of shares and supportive comments, they added: “Thank you for all the shares hopefully our angel finds her way back to our tree soon, if not I hope she has a lovely new home and makes a little human smile.”

Locals showed their outrage on social media. Kim O’Neill wrote: “Some people are unbelievable we have great staff at the surgery who work really hard and yet still manage to put a smile on our faces when we see a lovely Xmas tree.”

Patsy Kinsey added: “Some people are absolutely disgusting.”
