Police in Fife are appealing for witnesses after a man in a white, saloon car approached two teenage girls on the High Street in Lochgelly to ask for directions whilst touching himself in a sexual manner.

The two girls, both 17-years-old were not hurt during the incident but were physically shaken.

The suspect is described as a white man in his late 20’s, skinny with ginger stubble and wearing a grey t-shirt, black jogger bottoms with a black baseball cap and glasses.

Detective Constable Ross Gribbons: “This was a very distressing incident for the girls involved and although they were not physically harmed they were left shaken.

“We are eager to trace the man responsible as soon as possible and I would appeal to anyone who may recognise the description of the suspect or who may have seen a white car in the area around the time of the incident to get in touch.”
