Police arrest two people after 'disturbance' on street in Edinburgh's Craigour area

Police officers have arrested and charged two people in relation to a “disturbance” in the Craigour area of Edinburgh on Wednesday.

One man, 27, and one woman, 25, were arrested and charged following the incident at Craigour Place.

It took place at around 8.20pm on Wednesday 20 May.

Officers said no-one was hurt in the incident.

A spokesman for Police Scotland said: “Police Scotland was made aware of a disturbance at Craigour Place in Edinburgh around 8.20pm on Wednesday, 20 May.

“A 27-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman were arrested and subsequently charged in relation to the incident.

“Nobody was injured.

“A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal and they are expected to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court at a later date.”
