Police hunting gang of men after homes broken into in late night crime spree
A gang of men dressed in black broke into four homes during a late night crime spree which ended in West Lothian.
Thieves smashed their way into a home in Livingston’s Jackton Place at around 4am on Tuesday, February 17 - the last of four similar incidents reported on the same night.
The first incident saw a home in Tullibody’s Stirling Road broken into at around 2.25am, with another home in Alloa Road, Stirling, having been targeted a short time later. A house in Suilven Heights, Cotton Lane, Laurieston was also broken into at around 3am.
Detectives investigating the four incidents, which they say are linked, said a white Skoda Octavia and a group of four or five men dressed in black were seen at the locations of each of the incidents at the time of the break-ins.

The vehicle was last seen in the Stenhouse area of Edinburgh.
Detective Sergeant Hannah Acheson said: "These incidents are being treated as linked and our enquiries are ongoing to trace those responsible. I would ask anyone who was in these areas around the relevant times and who saw anything suspicious, or who may have seen the white Skoda Octavia, to contact police.
"I would also ask anyone with private CCTV, doorbell or dash-cam footage to review it and get in touch if you have anything that could assist with our investigation."
Anyone with information is asked to call Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident number 0271 of February 17.
