His disappearance is completely out of character and his family is becoming concerned.

In a statement, they told the Edinburgh Evening News: "The whole family is worried sick, Grahame if you see this appeal get in touch with someone to let us know you are safe."

Grahame is understood to be the landlord at the Coach and Horses pub in Carlisle but is described by family members as "born and bred Edinburgh" and a "huge" Hearts fan.

Cumbria Police have been contacted for a comment.
