Police are on the hunt for two individuals in connection with a break-in and theft at a Penicuik hair studio.

An appeal has been launched after a hair studio in the town's John Street was targeted on Monday, 2 December.

The unit was broken into and items stolen from within.

Police wish to trace two people described as having their faces covered, wearing grey tracksuits and hooded tops in connection with the incident.

Anyone who has information regarding the crime or property stolen is urged to contact police immediately on 101 quoting incident number 0633, 02/12/2019.
