Police raid 'cannabis farm' on Leith Walk

Police have raided premises on Edinburgh’s Leith Walk, which officers say is a cannabis farm.

Police are on the scene.

Police were seen earlier today removing a number of large bags from a property on the corner of Casselbank Street near the bottom of the Walk.

Police remain on the scene but could not confirm any arrests.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Officers are currently in attendance at an address in Leith Walk in Edinburgh after the discovery of what is understood to be a cannabis cultivation.

"Enquiries are ongoing in the matter."
