£20,000 worth of bikes stolen from Edinburgh shop overnight
and live on Freeview channel 276
Three bikes were stolen from the Tollcross based bike shop on Tuesday October 13 at around 11pm, totalling a loss of just over £20,000.
The owners took to social media this morning to say:
"It pains us to say that overnight we've been the victims of a smash and grab, and lost just over £20k of bikes from our demo fleet.

Hide Ad"Thanks to our awesome neighbours, who managed to call the police and give us the heads up, and thanks to everyone who's dropped us a line to check in.”The shop will be open this morning but have advised customers that they will be keeping the main door shut to allow them to tidy up the left made by the intruders.
Co-owner, Luke Austin told the Evening News that an investigation into the incident is on-going and said: “It’s just it was pretty brazen, it was eleven o’clock at night, which is
ridiculously early, on a really, really busy street.
"So, you can imagine how we feel about it.”
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 11.10pm on Tuesday October 13, officers in Edinburgh received reports of a break-in and theft at a premises on Lochrin Place.
“Enquiries into the incident are ongoing, anyone with information which could help the investigation is asked to contact police on 101, quoting incident 3796.”
