Range Rover driver stopped in Edinburgh's Newington for having no licence or insurance

A car owner with no licence has been caught driving an uninsured Range Rover in the Capital.

The driver was stopped on Tuesday in the Newington area of Edinburgh and has been reported to the Procurator Fiscal.

The vehicle has been seized.

A police spokeswoman said: “Police stopped a Range Rover in the Newington area of Edinburgh this afternoon (Tuesday). The driver was found to have no driving licence and no insurance.
