Rangers star Kenny Miller arrested over Old Firm brawl

Rangers striker Kenny Miller has been arrested in connection with an alleged brawl at an upmarket restaurant hours after an Old Firm match.

The incident took place on September 10 at Da Luciano in Bothwell, Lanarkshire, following Rangers’ 5-1 defeat to Glasgow derby rivals Celtic.

The 36-year-old former Scotland striker is reported to have been at the restaurant with his wife.

A Police Scotland spokesman, said: “A 36-year-old man has been arrested and is subject to a report to the procurator fiscal in connection with this incident.”

The Crown Office confirmed the case is under review.

A spokesman said: “The procurator fiscal at Hamilton has received a report concerning a 36-year-old male in connection with alleged incidents on September 10, 2016.

“The report remains under consideration.”

A Da Luciano spokeswoman refused to comment.
