Road closed in West Lothian after person is struck by vehicle
Accident in snowy Armadale causes road closure.
Police in West Lothian were called to a road accident on East Main Street in Armadale just before 8am this morning.
It was confirmed that a white van hit struck a person who has now been taken to Monklands Hospital in Airdrie.
The westbound lane was closed for some time but has now reopened. The eastbound lane remains closed.
