Sir Harry Lauder crash: man arrested following major collision on Edinburgh road

A man has been arrested following a serious crash on one of the Capital's main roads.

Two vehicles collided in Sir Harry Lauder Road, Edinburgh, just after midnight on Saturday, 14 November.

Injuries of the drivers involved have not yet been confirmed, but one man has been arrested in connection with the incident which led to the main road being blocked for more than an hour.

Witnesses to the crash reported seeing police and ambulance in the area at the time of the collision.

A police spokeswoman said: "We were called around 00.14 am on Saturday, 14 November, to a report of a two car crash on Sir Harry Lauder Road, Edinburgh. The road was blocked and re-opened around 1.45am. A man has been arrested in connection with the incident."
