A glass shop front in Princes Street is thought to have been shattered by today's strong winds.

Police were called to the Vodafone shop, on the corner of Princes Street and St Andrew Street, at about 9:30am.

A police spokeswoman said the cause of the broken glass is unclear but today's bad weather could not be ruled out.
