Teenager charged in connection with assault and theft in Bonnyrigg

A teenager has been arrested and charged in connection with an assault and theft in Bonnyrigg.

Police Scotland said the arrest happened following an incident at around 9.40pm on Saturday 16 November.

The teenager will appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Monday.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “A 15-year-old youth has been arrested and charged in connection with an assault and theft in the Dundas Street area of Bonnyrigg.

"The incident happened around 9.40pm on Saturday, 16 November. He is due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Monday, 18 November."
