Three teenagers have been charged following a disturbance in Edinburgh.

Police were called to Alan Breck Gardens in Clermiston at around 8.40pm on Saturday to reports of a disturbance involving a number of youths.

One 16-year-old boy was arrested and charged and is expected to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court tomorrow (Monday).

Two further teenagers, aged 15 and 16, were also arrested in the disturbance, and have been charged and reported to the relevant authority.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 8.40pm on Saturday, 25 July, officers were called to the Alan Breck Gardens area, following reports of a disturbance involving a number of youths. We can confirm that a 16-year-old male has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident and is expected to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Monday, 27 July.

"Two more males, aged 15 and 16, have been charged and will be reported to the relevant authority.

"Further enquiries into the matter are ongoing.”
