Two charged over East Lothian housebreakings

TWO men have been charged following housebreakings in East Lothian and the Scottish Borders.

A home in Gullane was broken into and two vehicles stolen on Wednesday April 13.

The following day a second housebreaking occurred at a property in Peebles where another vehicle was taken.

Two vehicles have been recovered and inquiries are ongoing to trace the third.

Two men aged 17 and 23 have now been arrested.

The pair have also been charged with an attempted housebreaking at another address in Peebles on Thursday April 14 and will appear in court at a later date.
