Two people missing on Arthur's Seat as police helicopter joins search

The pair have not yet been found.

A police helicopter was used in a search for two missing people on Arthur's Seat last night.

Police Scotland's Air Unit assisted Edinburgh Police Division in the search.

The Unit reported around 9pm that the helicopter search had been unsuccessful and the two people were still missing.

Edinburgh police are continuing with their enquiries.
