Vandal targets Lothian Bus with slingshot and smashes window

A Lothian bus has been of vandalised by young man who took aim with a slingshot and shattered one of its windows.

The incident took place on Wednesday, September 30 at around 1.10pm when the bus was outside Hardengreen branch of Tesco in Dalkeith. An unknown object was slung at the window using a slingshot, causing it to smash.

Midlothian Police Officers are appealing for witnesses with information to come forward and assist them in identifying the individual responsible.

The suspect is described as a young male wearing a black hooded top and black jogging bottoms. He was seen to hit the bus window with an unknown item using a

slingshot.

The police have not reported any injuries in relation to the incident.
