WATCH: Edinburgh motorbikers - one with a child passenger - cause disturbance at Silverknowes shore

A group of around five people on motorbikes, including a young child, was seen on the Silverknowes shore on Sunday afternoon.

A man and a young child appeared to be riding a small pink motorbike alongside four other bikers in Silverknowes on Sunday afternoon.

One witness captured a video of the motorbikers speeding by the shoreline, saying one rider “looked about five”.

The incident happened at around 2.30pm on Sunday, May 9.

Police Scotland said it received a number of reports on the incident.

A Police spokesperson said: “We received a number of reports of motorbikes being driven in the Silverknowes area of Edinburgh during the afternoon on Sunday, May 9, 2021.

"Officers attended and they had left the area.”
