West Lothian news: Car crashes through garage in Bathgate, sparking emergency service response

Emergency services flooded a residential street in West Lothian, after a car crashed through a garage.

The collision took place on Inch Crescent in Bathgate, shortly before 4pm on Tuesday, January 17. Emergency services were quickly alerted, with police, ambulances and fire crews all attending the incident.

Despite the major emergency response, officers have confirmed that no-one was injured in the crash. Police are now investigating in order to determine the full circumstances that led to the collision.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Around 3.50 pm on Tuesday, 17 January 2023, police received a report of a car having crashed into a garage in Inch Crescent, Bathgate. Emergency services attended and no-one was injured as a result of the crash.They added: "Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of the incident."

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and the Scottish Ambulance Service have been approached for comment.
