West Lothian police launch appeal for missing 15-year-old girl

West Lothian police have appealed for the public’s help to find a missing teenage girl from Bathgate.

Demi Lee Middleton, 15, was last seen at around 4:30pm on Thursday, February 25 in the Old Deans Road area of the town.

Officers believe she was heading towards Bathgate town centre.

Demi is around 5’6” tall, with a slim build and light brown shoulder-length hair.

She was last seen wearing a short olive green jacket, black leggings, white trainers and a brown satchel style handbag.

Constable Craig Lochrie from Police Scotland said: "We're worried about Demi Lee and want to know she is safe and well.

“We are appealing to anyone who has seen, or has information about where she might be, to contact us via 101 quoting incident number 0025 of 26 February 2021."

Police Scotland has Missing Person Coordinators (MPCs) in every local division in the country.

Police Scotland says MPCs ensure missing persons have the “correct level of support” once they are found.

UPDATE: Demi Lee Middleton has since been traced.
