West Lothian residents are urged to be vigilant after a spree of overnight vehicle thefts

Police officers are carrying out enquiries into a number of vehicle related crimes that occurred this week in Livingston.

The incidents took place between the evening of Monday, January, 18, and the morning of Tuesday, January, 19, 2021.

The crimes include theft of and from motor vehicles in the area of Easter Bankton, Fiddich Drive, Lyon Drive, Clova Drive, Teviot Drive, Nigel Rise, Ossian Drive and Moriston Drive Livingston.

Police are appealing for anyone with information or anyone who may have witnessed anything suspicious to come forward and assist in the investigation.

They are specifically requesting any CCTV or ring doorbell footage from residents in the area that may have captured anything during the overnight time frame.

Residents are being urged to ensure that they lock their vehicles and are advised not to leave them running whilst unattended.
