Cyclists get cash drive in motion

HUNDREDS of cyclists campaign outside St Andrew’s House to urge greater investment by the Scottish Government in low-carbon transport.

The campaign, backed by Olympic sprint cyclist Chris Boardman, called on politicians to fully fund plans to meet the country’s climate change targets.

Mr Boardman said: “To get people on their bikes, and make sure Scotland plays its part in addressing climate change, there needs to be proper investment in cycling infrastructure.”
