Dalkeith bar plans get green light

A NEW pub and restaurant is set to be built after the plans were given a green light by council chiefs.

Carter Lauren Construction Ltd, based in Cardiff, had applied for planning permission to build the eatery complete with a licensed bar at Todhills in Old Dalkeith Road, Dalkeith.

The proposals were approved by Midlothian Council at a recent meeting, with the provision that work gets under way on the project within the next three years.
