Drink-driving newlywed is handed ban
Jacob Connor was rushing his wife of just 18 days back home after she was sick at a function in Tranent, East Lothian.
However, the motor trade worker was caught out by police after he forgot to switch his lights on.

Hide AdPolice pulled him over as he drove into his driveway in Tranent on December 16 last year.
Connor, 56, admitted driving at more than double the drink-driving limit at Haddington Sheriff Court.
He told the court he tried to call a taxi to take them home, but was told he could wait up to an hour.
Sheriff Peter Braid banned Connor from the road for 17 months, and fined him £720.
