Drivers are facing delays on the City Bypass following an earlier breakdown.

A lorry had broken down blocking one lane, with police at the scene to divert traffic.

However, the A720 heading Westbound between Gilmerton and Lasswade has now been cleared.

Drivers had been told to expect delays and avoid the route if possible.

Traffic remains busy in the area as it returns to normal.
