Ear bitten in club attack

A MAN’S ear was nearly severed when an attacker bit him outside a nightclub, police said.

The pair had been arguing inside the club where the victim, 41, had been talking to a friend.

When he left the venue in Bathgate, West Lothian, the man assaulted him.

Police appealed for information about the attack, which happened some time after 3am on August 27 outside Chalmers Nightclub in George Street.

The attacker is white, aged 20-25, slim and has dark eyes. He was wearing a black button-up T-shirt, dark blue jeans and black boots.
