Grassmarket Craft Beer Festival in Edinburgh back 'bigger and better' with live music and street food
Edinburgh’s craft beer festival returns to the Grassmarket next month, featuring 10 Scottish breweries, live music and street food.
Following the success of its popular beer festivals over the past two years, Cold Town House will host the Grassmarket Craft Beer Festival on Saturday, October 4, between 12pm and 6pm, celebrating the thriving independent craft beer scene.
This year’s line-up features some new faces, including Falkirk’s Not That California Brewing Company; Thistly Cross from East Lothian, Harviestoun Brewery and Williams Brothers from Clackmannanshire and Edinburgh’s Walkie Talky Brewing. Edinburgh’s Closet Brewing and Moonwake Brewing will also be returning for the October event.

Ruth Reid, brand and marketing manager at Cold Town Brewery, said: "We've gone bigger and better with more tickets on sale and amped up the live music with a five-piece brass band for this autumn’s Grassmarket Craft Beer Festival.
“We’re really excited to be welcoming a fantastic line-up of breweries to the home of brewing in Edinburgh. Time and again, this event has proven to be a brilliant celebration of the Scottish craft beer community, and this year’s edition is no exception.
“If the lineup is anything to go by, it’s set to be another standout occasion. We’re also buzzing to host an amazing selection of live acts, including Jono Connelly and the Brass Rats. It’s shaping up to be a showstopper of a day filled with great beer, great music, and great vibes—and we can’t wait to share it with you."
Visitors will get to try the finest seasonal drinks form various breweries and have the opportunity to get a close-up view of Cold Town’s very own microbrewery.
Located at 4 Grassmarket, tickets for the Grassmarket Craft Beer Festival cost £15 which includes a festival cup and a festival tote bag. For more information and to book tickets you can visit the Grassmarket Craft Beer Festival website.
