Edinburgh crash between bus and car hospitalises two as driver reported

Two people were hospitalised after a crash between a bus and a car in Edinburgh yesterday.

The smash took place on the A90 near Cramond Brig at around 4.30pm, with traffic held up on the busy route in its wake.

Emergency services rushed to the scene and the pair were treated at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh for minor injuries.

Meanwhile, a 33-year-old woman is to be reported to the Procurator Fiscal for an alleged road traffic offence.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "Around 4.30pm on Wednesday, 3 July, 2024, we received a report of a crash involving a car and a bus on the A90 Crammond Brig, Edinburgh.

"Two people were treated at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh for minor injuries.

"A 33-year-old woman will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal for a road traffic offence."
