Edinburgh man Sean Scott who is 'extremely vulnerable' reported missing from Fort Kinnaird Retail Park

Concern is growing for an “extremely vulnerable” man who went missing from a retail park in Edinburgh.

Sean Scott, who is from the Capital, was last seen at around 5.40pm at Fort Kinnaird on Thursday (September 1).

The 23-year-old is described as “extremely vulnerable” and police have said they are concerned for his welfare.

Inspector Graeme Dignan said : “We are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of Sean. This is an extremely worrying time for his family and friends.

“We have issued a CCTV image of Sean from earlier on today in the hope that someone may recognise him.

“Officers are carrying out extensive searches and reviewing CCTV in an effort to trace him but there have been no confirmed sightings of him.

“I would urge anyone who has any information on Sean’s whereabouts or who has had contact with him to call Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident 2765 of 1 September.”

Sean is described as 5ft 5 and of slim build with light stubble or beard and short brown hair.

He was last seen wearing black and yellow ear defenders that look like headphones, a grey short sleeved plain t-shirt, black trousers, white trainers and white socks.
