Edinburgh road to close for six days

Duddingston Low Road between Holyrood Park Road and Old Church Lane will be closed from Monday February 20 until end of Saturday February 25 for resurfacing and re marking works

The road will be closed for repair work as part of ongoing maintenance to improve the condition of the road.

It is understood that the affected road is in the S-bend on the Duddingston Low Road, which has been damaged by the cold weather this winter.

As a result of the road is icing up regularly, the work will see the replacement of the tarmac as well as the addition of anti-skid surfacing and new road markings.
