Traffic Scotland reported a crash on the A720 Eastbound just after Hermiston Gait at around 12.10pm today.
One lane is blocked as a result.
It is not yet known how many vehicles were involved or whether anyone has been injured.
Drivers have been urged to take care when approaching the area.
Police Scotland has been contacted for comment.
