5. Red sky at night
Sarah described this sunset she captured in Edinburgh as the 'sky on fire' as darkness was just about to set in on the city. At least there are only good omens for a red sky at night. The shepherds will be pleased (Photo: Sarah Watt). Photo: Sarah Watt
A gorgeous contrast of verdant green and light pinks was beautifully captured by Ilona who was keen to share the skies with fellow Edinburgh folk (Photo: Ilona Turnball). Photo: Ilona Turnbull
We might be fooled into thinking that we've gone back in time to Halloween but this spooky sunset embraced Edinburgh on Monday as the trees stood as haunting silhouettes (Photo: Ilona Turnbull). Photo: Ilona Turnbull
Looking at this picture, you may be reminded of autumnal set When Harry Met Sally as the skies are ablaze with gorgeous oranges complimented by the burnt yellow leaves (Photo: Ilona Turnbull). Photo: Ilona Turnbull
