The Scottish SPCA have launched their new activity pack to help children get involved with the charity and become ‘animal champions’.

The charity have also handed out 500 copies of the activity pack across Edinburgh and the Lothians for those children who don’t have internet access and therefore cannot download their own copy.

Each month a new booklet will be released with the next stage of the adventure and certificates are handed out to all those who complete the journey.

There are also video blogs and live-chat forums on the website.

The packs were made up in the past few weeks, with the charity spending over £3,000 on the project, and were handed to Police Scotland, who distribute them to children.
