Extension at gym to open

A £600,000 gym extension at Xcite Bathgate Leisure Centre is set to open this weekend.

West Lothian Leisure will mark the event with a special “open weekend” on Saturday and Sunday, between 9am and 4pm.

The extension features new technology equipment and air conditioning. New customers can join for free this weekend.

There will be a host of free activities on offer over the two days, including swimming, fitness classes, fitness assessments, golf competitions and advice sessions from Physioflex.
