Faith works for runner

A HOMELESS man who got off the streets is running long distances to raise money for the organisation that help turn his life around.

Gavin Lawson lives in Musselburgh with his young family. A decade ago, he was given a hand up by Leith-based Bethany Christian Trust. Over the weekend, he ran from Edinburgh to Stirling, over a distance of nearly 50 miles. So far, he has raised £3000 for the charity, and hopes to take in more.
