Festival’s snap decision

A YOUNG person is being offered the opportunity to become the official photographer of this year’s Edinburgh International Festival.

The Festival has joined forces with the Morton Charitable Trust to offer an exciting opportunity for an up-and-coming photographer to develop his or her craft and capture the lively character of the Festival over the three weeks between August 9 and September 2.

Emerging photographers based in Scotland or with Scottish links are encouraged to send a sample of their portfolio and a covering letter to Susie Burnet at the Festival by February 17.

The results of the winner’s work will be showcased in an exhibition at the Hub in autumn of this year.
