Firefighters battle electrical substation fire
Fire crews attended a blaze at an electrical substation on Alva Street his morning.
It is believed the fire started after water seeped into the inside of the substation following heavy rain yesterday.
Three fire engines attended the incident at 9.14am and Scottish power are now isolating the substation - a process which could lead to limited power blackouts in the flats surrounding it.
A spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service confirmed no one was hurt in the incident.
