Four held over cocaine haul worth £34,000 found in raid

POLICE have arrested four people and seized cocaine with an estimated potential street value of £34,000 following a raid.

Officers seized the drug from an address in County Square in Prestonpans, East Lothian, on Thursday.

Two men, aged 44 and 51, and two women, aged 50 and 27, were arrested and charged.

In another raid in Prestonpans on Thursday, cannabis with a street value of £200 was seized after police swooped on a property in Grange Crescent West. In addition, £430 cash was confiscated.

Three men, aged 48, 24, and 23, were arrested and charged with drugs offences, and are all due to appear at Haddington Sheriff Court at a later date.

On December 20, Kenneth Glen, 25, who worked at the Royal Musselburgh Golf Club in Prestonpans, pleaded guilty at the High Court in Edinburgh to supplying cocaine.

Glen was part of a gang targeted by a police operation that recovered £1 million of cocaine.
