Free exhibition of pupils’ art

A FREE art exhibition featuring the work of pupils at Midlothian schools is to be held next week.

The show will take place at the Scottish Mining Museum in Newtongrange from Wednesday, June 6, to Sunday, June 10.

The schools’ art exhibition is organised annually by Midlothian Council’s arts and creativity team and is now in its 13th year. The art chosen alternates yearly between primary and secondary schools.

This year’s exhibition, showcasing the artistic talents of primary pupils, features a wide range of art, including painting, design and sculpture.
